Dear Santa...

I don't really want or need anything. I could ask for an OC drawing but i'm not really wanting that. I could ask for a fanart drawing but I don't really want that either.

I want nothing for christmas because I don't deserve it.

I live in well, I have as I wish, and I feel no want for anything...but i do have a small art wish.

What I want is to give to others and see them happy. I see men and women in pain and scorn over their lives. The dream of a stockbroker is that to reach his height and now his forehead has everlasting creeses from worry. The dream of a family joining for dinner on the upcoming holiday is pulled apart because of gas prices and plane ticket sales. The dream of child to have one simple gift is shatter for his or her mother can not afford to get that one little thing that said child has wished for. The dream of two people in love and willing to marry but are so alike that in the eyes of other people, they are not equal. The dream of any person across the world to wake tomorrow without the fear of death drawing near, brought upon them by war, poverty, sickness, or things they are not at fault for.

Though I see smiles and here people still chant "Yes we can," I cannot help but to be cynical and whisper "What is it that we can do?"
I do not deny that the steps taken in my country, The United States of America, has been great but I can't help but wonder what I can do for everyone less forcunate than me.

There a people, nay, there are children out there that I wish we could reach out to on this holiday. Though our community is large and passionate I do not see us having that power yet.

So Santa if you could grant me one wish, one gift, one thing that may seem as too much in this world...grant me this.

Help people remember that this season means more that "Jingle bells" and "hohoho." Find a way, though art, to show people why we have this holiday and so many other holidays at this time on earth. Even if some do not have any religious faith. Please, Remind them to be kind.

It is the season of giving, so help them remember to GIVE! Let them remember to put a pennie or two in a donation box. Help them to remember to wish people a good day and good night. Remind them to smile at those they don't know. Remind them to give a helping hand when someone drops something or seems in need. Show them that it's ok to say "Have a wonderful day" and "Have a happy holidays. Tell them to be tolerant and show respect to everyone and anyone becaus ethey deserve it. Give us all a reminder to unite under one thing, if not under our leaders, if not our country, if not our comunity, then under the love for each other. Teach them not to look at someone for the faults they believe to see. Teach them to love one another. Make them believe in "peace on earth and good will to ALL men."

If there is one thing we ALL have in common...it's the belief in love and that anyone can give and recieve it.
